Broken-Down House
Broken-Down House
Shepherd Press BookTweets Vol. 1

Paul David Tripp's

BDHTop.jpg

Welcome to an experiment! We have launched a new program called Shepherd Press BookTweets. The concept, as you probably guessed, is to use Twitter to share the core ideas of selected books. Summary tweets of Paul Tripp's book, Broken-Down House, have begun, and tweets are being delivered according to a daily schedule voted on by those who have followed the @bdhouse Twitter account.

Over the course of a few weeks, @bdhouse will summarize nearly every important idea in what Discerning Reader calls "a book for everyone and everything....a piece of work whose cornerstone is Christ, and whose chief architect is God himself. Read it and weep, read it and rejoice." You can read the full review of the book here, and the ongoing tweet summaries here.

Also, we will randomly select seven of the people following us on Twitter to receive a signed copy of the book. It’s not too late to follow @bdhouse!

In this video, Paul Tripp talks about the intriguing new book that will launch the BookTweets program.

We hope to release additional free book summaries through Shepherd Press BookTweets in the future. If you would like to be notified of our BookTweets plans, or request that a particular Shepherd Press book be summarized, that could be very helpful for our planning, so please let us know.

Sin has ravaged the house that God created. It sits slumped, disheveled and in pain, groaning for the restoration that can only be accomplished by the hands of him who built it in the first place. The good news is that the divine Builder will not relent until everything about his house is made new again. The bad news is that you and I are living right in the middle of the restoration process. We live each day in a house that is terribly broken, where nothing works exactly as intended. But Emmanuel lives here as well, and he is at work returning his house to its former beauty.
