Authority is Established Through Righteousness, Not Manipulation

The biggest issue with manipulation is that it does not acknowledge God’s rule. Manipulation relies on human wit and enticement. Neither are qualities that build relationships. Manipulation cares primarily for performance. Biblical instruction focuses primarily on the heart.

Kings detest wrongdoing,
for a throne is established through righteousness. Proverbs 16:12

Authority is established by God, not by my persuasive words.

If I seek God’s righteousness, there is no room for my pragmatic schemes.

If my leadership is established by God’s righteousness, it is foolish to have authority serve my convenient desires.

Do i seek first the Kingdom of Heaven and his righteousness or do I vainly seek the establishment of my own little kingdom.
