About the book
Music is one of the most powerful influences on earth. Whether sung by voices, played on instruments, or synthesized by technology, it is a part of daily life. We all remember our favorite song and perhaps where we first heard it. But why should you think about the music you hear?
Humphrey Dobson explores a biblical worldview on music and how this applies to what you listen to. Does God care about your musical choices? Are there any standards for deciding which music is helpful to you and which is not?
The music used in church worship services has changed a lot in recent decades, but how does this relate to the Bible’s teaching about the character of God, music or beauty? Whether in church or in daily life, this engaging book encourages everyone to choose and enjoy good music to the glory of God.
