It is impossible to separate the acceptable worship of God from a deep love of the wisdom of God.

Biblical wisdom is more precious than anything, anything that you can desire. If you do not desire God’s wisdom above all else, your worship will be an exercise in self-service. Failure to love wisdom, is a failure to love God.

 

Blessed are those who find wisdom,
    those who gain understanding,
14 for she is more profitable than silver
    and yields better returns than gold.
15 She is more precious than rubies;
    nothing you desire can compare with her.

Proverbs 3:13-15
