About the book
Sin has ravaged the house that God created. This world now sits broken and disheveled, groaning for the restoration that can only be accomplished by the hands of the Creator. The bad news is that we are living in the midst of the restoration process, but the good news is that Emmanuel lives with us and will not relent until his house is made new again.
In Broken-Down House, Paul David Tripp provides a manual for living with peace, joy, and productivity in a world damaged by sin. Guiding readers with biblical principles such as admitting limits, learning to wait, and determining to love, Tripp's gospel encouragement points us to the abundant grace of Jesus available today, as we wait for the fully restored house of tomorrow.
Now with added questions for reflection and discussion, Broken-Down House is an excellent resource for personal devotionals and group study.
Endorsements
"Paul's writing meets us where we are and directs us to where God has called us to be. If you need to understand how Scripture sparks change in real life, read Tripp!"
—Dave Harvey, author of When Sinners Say "I Do"
"Paul Tripp reminds us that although we often feel helpless, we are actually filled with the same life-giving, world-changing power that resurrected Jesus from the grave. As we embrace this power we can enter the most dilapidated rooms of creation and transform them through the love of Christ."
—Ken Sande, President, RW360
