Thanks to Justin Taylor for posting this short video. You can access it here.
This video is about a teenager who understands what is important in life. You can use this as an opportunity to have dialogue with your children about things that matter. This can help you and your children reset your priorities towards a more godly orientation. It is worth your time.
After you take a look at this, let me know your thoughts.
One thought on “What’s Important”
The thing that I would like to learn is this: how do we be like Clayton though we don’t have the luxury, as he called it, of knowing that we will die soon? I mean, if we knew we were dying imminently, we would not worry about finding a mate, buying an expensive house, investing in stock markets, etc. We would focus on the important. But since we don’t know that, how can we achieve the same sense of focus without worrying about things like what career to pursue, what job to get, whom to marry, etc? It seems that paradoxically the short life leading to certain imminent death is more free than the other.
